Reservation Policy

The Reservation Policy for admission to the Diploma, UG and PG Programmes will be as per para 21.2 of MoA. And is given as

1. 60% from BTAD (60% ST, 5% SC, 15% OBC and20% General)

2. 20% from North-Eastern region excluding BTAD.

3. 17% from All lndia excluding North-Eastern Region.

4. 03% for physically handicapped candidates.

The selection through serial no. (ii), (iii) & (iv) will follow the reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC and General as laid down by the Government of India. ln case the seats as mentioned in (i) and/or (ii) are not filled up by respective category candidates, the seats will be open to all following the reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC and General as laid down by the Government of lndia.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates

As per the AICTE guidelines (para 7.44), 10% of reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) above the intake capacity shall be permissible for admission. It is not applicable for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC candidates. EWS vacant seats shall also be considered for the Lateral Entry to Second Year Course(s) with the same reservation policy for admission.

Tuition Fee waiver (TFW): As per the AICTE guidelines (para 7.49), TFW is applicable for the admitted candidates in all programmes.
